cuddle party is an event workshop instructing adult participants in the art of
consensual and boundary-appropriate touch. They generally
use a set of rules to set up a safe space and keep things from heating up too much, such as no nudity, hands under clothes, dry humping, or other sex. Erections are considered natural (not problematic), but should not be acted upon.
The parties are organized in several cities in the U.S., Canada, Germany, Amsterdam and soon in Australia.
Premise of cuddle parties is the recognition of "need to be held and cuddled" is very close to
and equally vital as more conventionally accepted human needs like thirst, hunger, and sex. There is vast literature of the
benefits of cuddling to the prematurely born or healthy infants and toddlers but not much research is avaialable for the same
for adolescents, adults or seniors. No one should remain in an illusion that the co-ed type adult-adult cuddling is not an
erotic interlude, it is at a minimum erotic foreplay even if in a subdued form. The benefit is that it is highly controlled,
therefore safe.

alcohol-free way to meet gentle and friendly people in a comfortable, warm and relaxing environment. Here you can hope

A Cuddle and Dance Party IS NOT:
a pseudo-orgy (i.e. an orgy disguised into a social workshop), orgy or a
grope-fest. These playful, fun workshops have been created and opeated to help people cheris non-sexual touching,
mutual massaging and some genunine affection, the club essentially provides you and charges you for the space
provided to help you reorganize your presumptions about what can take place between men and women, and a great networking
with others, to meet good friends, even locate for potential compatible, roommates, business partners and significant
others who you may eventually end up having long term sexual interactions or even marrying. The club is not a forum to
provide you with dates or mates but if that does happen, it is a bonus.
No matter how tempting to view it as an opportunity to get cheap sex, it would not
turn out to be the case.
